Big Skye I wood play sets by Gorilla Playsets are every child’s fantasy come true. This marvelous swing set is massive in size. If you have a large family or children who want to have all of their friends over to play, it is perfect. If you host a birthday party and you have a Big Skye I in your backyard, it will be a hit. This play set comes standard with two towers and one green tube slide plus one green wave slide. The play house boasts a chimney on top and has a wood roof. Your children will enjoy the rope ladder and have a blast with the rock wall.
Big Skye I and II features a yellow Tic-Tac-Toe spinner panel that was specially designed for young toddlers. They can sit in the play house and have fun with this game for two. Your kids will love being able to play inside one of the two play houses that are offered on this set. The first tower play area measures 5′x5′ which is pretty big and the second tower is a smaller area which is approximately 2.5′ x 5′. The second tower gains access to the larger slides. The combined fort platforms can withstand up to 800 pounds total weight.
These swing sets use a combination of wood that is stained in the factory along with the vinyl like green coating that encases the structural beams. The hand selected cedar wood is double sanded with rounded edges for safety. Equally the Big Skye I and the Big Skye II have a wooden table underneath the fort, which is great for picnics, afternoon snacks or playing games on. What is nice about this set is if you have younger children, it has a built in sand box, which also has a cover. One fun swing set accessory that is featured on this playset is the trapeze bar. The glider is another favorite ride on accessory because two children can ride together. The swings are attached with commercial swing hangers, which makes the set strong. Another safety feature is plastisol coated chains which help to prevent fingers from getting pinched. The plastisol does not cover the whole length of the chain, only where the child would hold onto the chains. Both sets have two slides but the Big Skye II has a third slide which is attached to the seven foot tall tower and is 14 feet long.
Your children will love the assortment of play activities on either of these two sets. They both are fantastically made and well engineered wooden swing sets.
